so yesterday was this guys birthday party


half the redefine team showed up to cover the good times. hella bummed my bromie earl couldn't come.
(by the way "bromie" ⓒ rye0ne 2009) hahaha it was good times chilling with new faces and some familiar faces, kept it real. we held down a legit cypher. 3.50!!!!!!!!!!!! shoot.. but yea in a nutshell it was good night some guy got cracked in the head with a bottle and the bacon arrived shortly afterwards. some crazy girl kept throwing my hat around and i was like wtf back off get your own sandwich. i'd say my only complaint was the only females approaching me were of the unattractive variety..

I think Most of you know that i'm a big lakers fan. Recently Lakers has just done it again ending the celtics winning streak , feels like christmas day all over again when they ended the celtics 19 game winning streak but this time it was 12. Lifes Beautiful




I believe these were the shirts that were made for last years NBA finals, Undefeated X Lamar odom .. the undefeated team did a good job haha.

well my little nike dunk american apparel hoodie friends sag is a tokyo based bag maker. their stuff is bomb proof like literally sag is my guilty bag pleasure. look for yourself saglife

sag is hella hype unintentionally i think but hype just the same. if you were to buy one of these bags you'd be one of very exclusive few.

i have this and there is in fact only 23 in all of north america. these days when i'm short on cash i wonder why i spent so much on a bag... the reason it looks like there is glossy vinyl pocket on the side is because there IS a glossy vinyl pocket on the side. for you to put whatever you want inside pictures stickers what have you at this point you're tapping on your head saying "oh you clever japanese people" yes..

but don't be fooled this is no ordinary "hype" sag messenger bags and all other sag products are hand made by highly skilled and masochistic japanese men. their blood is likely to be woven into the fabric.

my friend jeff has a release party for the shoe he designed for the converse one hund(reds) project.
if you don't know about the project basically:

my homie tommy skitch sent me this picture from our failed redefine cribs edition. it's an original head fitting block from the New Era factory in Buffalo, New York. basically new era has been using these blocks for the fitting of all major league baseball for the last 90 years. one may even deduce that babe ruth himself wore a cap cut from this fitting block. new era has just recently moved to a fully mechanized production process so they're selling all of those blocks. my homie tom has the killer new era collection . he would have killed that competition.

to think of the past couple days it can be summed up in...

BIG TROUBLE in little vancouver was a little disappointing for me. it was crazy hot in there!! and i stepped out then stepped in and it smelt like lint and the stuff under my toe nails. that and for some reason when theres battles in the middle of downtown vancouver it attracts all the slack jawed gawkers and the goofy sweat pants types.. i heard a lady say "ENOUGH !! LET'S SEE THE KIDS BREAKDANCE!!" probably intent on getting her child to soccer practise on time. but whatever a battles a battle and bboys are like masters of optimism the cyphers were HOT. you gotta give kim the respect due for pulling it together, a big props from me at least. and hey any battle where jim gets his first kiss from a big sweaty black man can't be too bad can it? hellz no.
